From Our CEO
Ambitrades was formed in 2018 due to a huge demand from our M&E Contractor Client Base.
We were created by our parent company Ambitek who specialise in Engineering recruitment. Ambitek has always been ambitious and is a true underdog in every sense of the word.

Launched in 2010 during the midst of the devastating global recession, we started trading from extremely humble beginnings - simply put, a small living room situated in Salford, Greater Manchester.
​
Within months we had to add the kitchen to our office space due to hiring additional members of staff! To this day we still laugh at how we were climbing over each other to answer phones, accessing printers and how
we had to take work breaks to play with our kids in the back yard once they’d get back from school. Working within the kitchen we did have the obvious benefit of being sat next to the kettle, so I’m sure you can imagine there was no shortage of brews! Fast forward to July 2011, against all odds and against a tough economy, Ambitek was doing well! We decided the time was right to acquire our own offices. We searched far and wide but finally decided on Eccles Town Centre, Salford.

Hey there, I’m Darren, and I’ve been immersed in the HVAC and construction industries for more than two decades now. It’s been an incredible journey filled with challenges and rewarding experiences.
Outside of work, I’m quite the active individual. I find joy in pushing my limits, whether that’s conquering mountains or coaching at grassroots football and Rugby League. Staying engaged in these activities keeps me energised and motivated.

Over the past year, my career has taken me through various roles, and I recently found myself in the position of a key account manager and team leader. It’s been an exciting responsibility overseeing a national account for one of the UK’s leading HVAC suppliers. I’ve poured my heart into ensuring top-notch service and building strong relationships with our clients.
Now, I’m embarking on a new chapter, transitioning into the field of recruitment. I firmly believe that my vast knowledge, expertise, and commitment to exceptional customer service will greatly benefit those I work with. It’s an opportunity for me to leverage my skills to help both individuals and businesses thrive. I’m thrilled to be part of this journey and eager to make a positive impact.
